This game is all but over. Oh well, we had a loss coming at some point. Let's get it out of the way and move on. :ermm:

this game may be over, but the season (imo) will be a success. love how they made that comeback. we just need some experience on getting over that hump.

Awfully hard to beat Eddie Sutton on his home court. Only a few teams in the country who could beat Texas and OSU on the road back to back.

I agree, there were some good things that happened tonight. Not like we were expecting them to go undefeated. They played a good team and will be better for it. NEXT!

oh yeah. they will be in the tournament unless they just have a complete meltdown, like vandy did last year. i dont think pearl would let that happen.


their d is real nice. gotta stop shooting those outrageous 3s. pearl seems to give watson and lofton the keys to the offense and sometimes they drive a little drunk.

good job vols. long ways to go.

Good job Vols! Way to fight back and stay in the game despite crappy calls. :clapping:

I really think a little bit better shot selection when we were down 3 after our big run would have made a HUGE difference regardless of refs. WAY too many 3's attempted there, need to go for the higher percentage shot.

I know we're all a little bummed about tonight's loss but this isn't your daddy's Vols team! In years past this would've been a 40 point loss after getting down huge early. These guys didn't hang their heads and tuck their tails, they came out fighting and made it a game again. Some bad calls and some poor shot selection cost us the game. Don't forget this is the same OSU team that just about beat Gonzaga gang. This is going to be an exciting and successful season!

it was just a bad first half. the second half we proved we are a good team. just a rusty start.

it will be some time before we are ranked again.

Too bad UT lost. Maybe now everyone can refocus and double their complaining about the lack of success with football recruits.
