27-4 (15-3). That's just off the top of my head. I obviously think we will have some games we will slip up in and lose. And some we will surprise. I wouldn't be surprised if we sweep Florida and beat UK. You never know. I over all expect a tremendous season.

I'm not going to predict a win total, but the Vols must get past the 1st round of the NCAA tourn for me to call the season a success.

Should be easy enough. If we're playing in the 1st round we were one of the last 4 in and that would definitely be dissapointing

They expect to be better than last year and a NCAA tournament team, it will definitely be a tough game.

Yeah I figured so. I just wasn't sure what all they had coming back from last season, but I know Xavier is a quality program and always tough to play at their place.

Since I actually invented pessimism, I'll say 22-9 so I can be elated if we do better.
I expect us to lose a lot of close road games starting with Xavier.
Also think the Battle will be a disappointment. Too early for all the new pieces for that kind of competition.
Martin haters will be out in force before we start the conference run.
Going to try and sit back and ride the bumps this season. No *****in and moanin!

I understand having a new PG is going to take some time but I don't get the its going to take some time for the "new pieces" to gel. Just go out and play ball. Barton isn't a ball dominate guard. He'll know his role. Hubbs Thompson and Pops will be fine. I don't think we will struggle that much in the beginning. Majority of our scoring is returning and Barton and Hubbs can score. I think adjusting may take time but I don't think it will be as rough as people suggest.

2nd week would be the sweet 16, obviously a very realistic goal. I have said I won't set my expectation by NCAA tourney success, top much to factor in. If we go 26-4, are ranked all year, and draw a 5 seed but slip up in the daunted 5/12 matchup...I won't declare the season a failure. Now if we go 20-11 and squeak in and lose in 5/12 matchup, it's a very dissapointing season IMO.

A team like Kansas has a whole lot more "adjusting" to do than we do IMO. All things considered, we have a large part of our team returning compared to most other top 25 teams.

Especially since they have the next "LeBron" on their team. They'll have to adjust around a freshman. We have players that have been through this and should be fine.

Nope. I don't think anyone will top UK's class. Ever.
