Official: Prime time to Colorado. DC from Bama staff?

I don't think Colorado is as bad a spot as people think. The PAC 12 is going to become an easier place to win with the LA schools leaving. And Coach Prime can recruit. I think he can do well there. You know he'll have that transfer portal going crazy in Boulder.

This is a good time to take over Colorado. They have the resources and it's a nice state to live in. I could see him making some waves there.

Transferring half his Jackson state team would be stupid.

I tend to think Colorado is a college that could do well if the right conditions happened.

They have a beautiful campus and facilities (though Folsom is fairly undersized for many P5 schools), good contributing donors that could grow significantly with the right AD and the influx on money to Colorado and like someone else said, playing in a weakened Pac-12 can only help them. Plus Boulder is a straight party town that the athletes could really get into.

If Prime can get a good NIL program going and start getting additional upgrades into Folsom and the other facilities (along with attendance) he really could do well there and the team could get back to at least being competitive in the Pac-12.

Or better yet, move Colorado back to the Big-12 where they belong...

Not tons better, but for persective of the recruiting he has done at JSt.

The state of Colorado used to produce some pretty solid nfl and college talent. Now looking at 247 for the 2023 class they have only 2 lowly rated 4 stars and the top player for 2024 is a 3 star. There isn’t much excitement for high school football like there used to be in the state. Great fans when it comes to the Denver broncos but that is about it. Prime won’t have the luster of having kids play for a HBCU school that is on the rise but think he will struggle getting kids from the south to come to Boulder with little fan excitement and likely lack of NIL.

If he does win at Colorado then auburn definately made a big mistake.
