Official Quinnipiac at Tennessee Game 1 Thread - 5PM

WOW!!! Smart with the golden glove play and throw to end the game, Vols move to 8-0 winning 13-2

Thanks Burger, TOP, Kentuckianvol, firestorm...for hanging out, the more the merrier and apologies if I missed someone....

2PM tomorrow!

Good year to start streaming if accurate.

I've always wanted to be able to follow the team but living outside of Tennessee, not really possible. This makes it possible and I love it.

UT has had a video stream for every baseball game for the last three seasons.

Yes, and if you are in position to tell them thanks for doing it for free, tell them folks we really appreciate it, I don't think any other SEC team does it for free anymore...I Really Appreciate It. :hi:

I think we all do. Every school should do that.

I'm just glad we could watch our boys play some ball. Nick is our only senior?

I believe Nick and Dalton Saberhagen are the only 4th year seniors.

In addition, Price, Smart and Bily are JUCO guys that are now seniors.

We'll be good for awhile then.

We have to be good first. We haven't played anybody yet. I'm not making light of the accomplishment they made today or might make tomorrow...the big games are yet to be played.

Specifically, we'll lose, arguably, our best pitcher and one of our best hitters...but we should be all right.

You're correct. I'd consider a sweep this weekend a step in the right direction. I really do think we have good starters top to bottom.

Vols senior RHP Nick Williams faced just 22 batters over 7.0 innings of work tonight as the #Vols improved to 8-0

Starting next season, schools will be streaming all of their sports free through the new SEC Network's website. Schools won't be able to do them on their own sites anymore. The broadcasts should be even better quality when this begins, all schools are upgrading their equipment for the switch.

I was wondering about that, read about in on Mr. SEC...that will be subscription based I assume...wait I need to learn to read...you say FREE?

The SEC won't do it for free. I would be surprised if they did.

Just like ESPN3 for ESPN, if you have access to the SEC Network on your cable system, you will be able to watch all of the events on their website for free, including the on-line only games. It won't be sold as a separate package.
