That would explain the 42 folks on roster via utsports.com. Only 40 can be on official NCAA roster. I’m not sure how many can travel but assume it’s around 27? @preacherman20, do you know how many are on travel roster?I have a question about the official 40 man roster. hadn't thought of previously, but

I have a question about the official NCAA 40-man roster. If someone gets hurt anytime during the year, can they be replaced on the roster with one of the guys that were redshirting and not on the original 40-man list? If not, if a rash of injuries happen, a team can be left with depth issues.

The 40 man roster is active and inactive players. An injured player can be replaced on roster if the injury is season-ending or if a player voluntarily withdraws for personal reasons.
