Rollercoasters, I'm okay with, been here everyday for the last four years, so I know the deal, this is something else.

Really disappointed tonight on what should be a really great evening for UT baseball.

Marks has been stellar this year. The Homers were absolute tank shots tonight too. I was afraid Maggio was taking out a car.

Had the Football team beaten UF last season, can you imagine the number of "victory lap" threads that would have been started in the FF?

Mind you, that UF team is not ranked #1 or #3 in the country, I mean honestly, they sucked.

I decided to take one of those "victory laps" last night, start a thread where like minded individuals could celebrate a victory over beating the highest ranked SEC team...just so happens to be Florida, what's not to like about that?

It was removed.

Of course the back drop to this has been a week of radio where callers, weighing in on a range of baseball topics, want to know what's wrong, if Dave's the right guy and my favorite...we're too small that's why we can't hit the baseball, we're to dadgum small...which you know was exactly what Logan Shore must have been thinking last night.

I bit my tongue last night and I'm not gonna let it get in the way, I guess we should be grateful to even have a forum in which to discuss baseball, but it could be so much better and given what's allowed to go on in the other forums....

Not going to let it get me down, Game 2 in about 5 hours.

It's great for the vols to finally get the stink of Florida dominance away from them.
I say this as vols got swept by gators in 2014-15 in basketball, same damn thing in football a miserable couldn't finish the game, and getting ran over by a unimpressive basketball gators team.

It's great to invade the swamp and skin the gators.

The difference in baseball and the others is that we have to win another for last night to matter.

Well yeah i guess I should have said end of the damn losing streak. :)

Need another win today or the sabbath that is Sunday to prove this remarkable win was not a fluke or a one trick pony.

Great thing it's a evening game I can get a workout in, and go to champ sports to see if they have those great cargo shorts I want.

No, I'm with ya, it was a fantastic win, which is kind of my point. When you take the regular season series from the eventual national champions last year, beat the highest ranked SEC team(at the moment)this year at their place...dunno, all one can do is laugh.

Vol66, I let you down with online victory laps last night but had you been with me in person, I think you'd have been proud. Maybe one too many laps, certainly way too many beers and some in your face texts and phone calls to fans of other SEC school. If tonight's game is as exciting, I'll probably need a doctor or an attorney in the morning.
