It sure has changed. That's exactly where I am. Right in the heart of the gas and oil industry now. If you ever come back for a visit, I'll buy you lunch.

Can't wait till the SEC network is here so we can catch more of these games on TV.

Keep in mind, the network will have to show other spring sports to keep the whining to a minimum.

I'm thrilled the network will not be based in the armpit of the south (Alabama)

Hi Everyone. This is my 1st post here on the board but have been reading/following the board for about 6 months now. Since I'm in California, I've been watching all the games on UT Sports & following the boards here. (Thanks Vol66). I flew out to Knoxville to see them play their scrimmage against Belmont back in October. I just got back from Tempe & finally got to see them play in person!

I was sitting in the 1st row next to our players dugout for all 3 games. I can't tell you how proud I am of this team!!

Just some observations by me regarding this game.

There were a lot of bad calls by the umps & it truly was a hostile atmosphere. The ASU fans are rude & classless!! It's one thing to yell & complain about the calls but the ASU fans starting talking a bunch of SH*t to the UT fans. There were also a couple of students??? that were calling our players a bunch of names while they were in the on deck circle. Also a few of our players said the ASU players were talking sh*t to them on the bases.

As for CDS being thrown out, he was standing up for & trying to protect our players. Coach went out to talk to the umps 2 or 3 times about how they were intentionally trying to take out our players. CDS was concerned for their safety! I have to say after he was tossed, it really fired the team up!!!

BTW, that ball did NOT go into the dugout!! It hit the rail that the players lean against. Yet another bad call by the umps!

Our players had a lot going against them but they proved what they are made of. Way to go Vols!!! Very proud of this team!
