Agree. While his slugging is remarkably poor, he gets the bat on the ball and has speed. SBs have to improve, he was down 50% last year.

I agree, Simcox has decent size and you would think he would hit with more power than he does. He's basically a contact hitter that finds gaps in the infield for singles.
 
Vols need to shake up the lineup or at least the batting order. Hard to generate a lot of offense when you are getting 6 for 41 from the first two batters in the order and the combined OBP is at .220. Throw in 10 Ks and only one RBI from these two spots and you have a big drain on the offense.

It's early in the season and both will get it going. But, it wouldn't hurt to break those two up at the top of the order until they do.
