We didn't deserve to win that game. As a team, that's the worst game I've seen going back to Serrano year 1. Hope they have it out of their system.

Tough loss against an ETSU squad that is really not all that great. Fortunately it's a mid-week, non-conference game. Just flush it and get ready for LSU.

I don't want to make a giant deal out of it, but it was really bad, the stats aren't going to do it justice...they happen I guess, glad it was mid week...I don't even want to think about what will happen if they come out like this at LSU.

On the bright side VJax got a homer and he had a decent weekend, we could use him.

Going back and reading the thread from Sunday's game shows how all-too easy it is for the fairweather fans to trash our team. Glad they didn't bother to show up for a mid-week game!

There's a difference between trying to give an honest assessment and you know...the type that come in and say we haven't improved or my least favorite, they are garbage, I really hate that one.

If somebody said the pitching sucked tonight, I wouldn't argue that. It's the people who go overboard that make this place not very enjoyable at times.

And I'd add, the vast majority of the guys that have been posting here for a while know that next year is when we're likely to see the team take a bigger step.

Yep me too. Honestly, the last few games it seems like we come out flat. I feel like we were much sharper defensively at the beginning of the season than we have been lately.

If I were Smart or Price, I'd get them together...for a couple of these guys it's their last go around and I know they'd like to be a part of the team that gets us back to Hoover.
