Official Tennessee at Grand Canyon Game Thread - 9 PM

Andy Cox Final Line: 3.1 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 4 BB, 5 SO, 2 2B, 19 BF, PC 82

Thanks 66, I stayed up for a while waiting however just couldn't make it.....

Looked like CDS was fighting back a huge smile at the beginning of the video. I'm sure he's excited how the season has gotten off to a great start.

Winning 3 of 4 doesn't prove anything just yet however it's a heck of a lot better than 1-3.... Congrats to the team and staff thus far!

Wow. I leave you guys alone for a little and ya'll just run wild...unbelievable...is this the real world...:)
Onward and upward...:pepper:

GO BIG ORANGE!

I believe Cox was the victim of some very long innings in the dugout. His performance last week was far more indicative of his skill.

However, he was sitting in the dugout for 30-45 mins between last and first pitches.

That being said, Freeman deserved the win for a strong 4+ innings.

Agreed! Cox will be invaluable to the team as a Friday guy or whatever role he's asked to perform that day. Freeman pitched well and deserved the win.

I'll be honest, When they put up a bunch of runs, things could have gone down hill in a hurry. Freeman kept them at bay and I give credit to the offense for putting more runs back on the board.

And Senzel came up with some stops and dbl plays at big times too...other than Bartlett and that play by VJax, the defense was pretty solid yesterday.

Yes, the defense made some critical plays to kill any momentum......

Intersting to see the lineup today, whether or not Bartlett is at short or Pruett gets a shot. I'm not suggesting benching Bartlett, he's done okay however Pruett continues to impress time after time. For those that didn't know, Langhorne is out sick.
