Got to adjust Friday night starters. Give Hunley a shot or someone else. Also, leaving Crochet in to get hammered can’t help his confidence.

Agree with the Lingo idea too. At some point you have to look at results and not potential results. The bullpen, with some exceptions, has looked pretty good but we aren’t getting to them quickly enough...especially on Friday night.

Lingo needs to stay put in the BP. He was bad as a starter and has been good in it.

Yeah he needs to be in the pen. Idk that there really is a Friday answer this year. We don’t hit most teams ace and we don’t have a true Friday night guy yet. I guess you could try Crochet, Hunley, Wallace and Benoit with the first three getting one time through the order and then if it close handing it to Lingo.

Staying with Crochet on Friday's will pay huge over time. But,Anderson and Vitello need to be better with getting guys up and ready when things go sideways. Last nights pull was way to late.

While Stallings and Neeley have done well and gone far in games this year, I still am not confident enough in any of our pitchers to not have guys throwing in the bullpen in the 5th inning. There is zero harm in getting guys tossing just in case.

I dont believe Lingo is a starter. Great arm but needs to develop his second and third pitches to be effective as a starter. Plus cut down on the walks.

Hunley is good do not get me wrong. But Wednesday is much different then Weekend vs the big dog teams. Keep him on Wednesday.

Crochet is learning.

Garrett pitched to contact. He pounds the zone. He will give up plenty of hits but the infield needs to play better. Andre is not a true SS.

Hope we can get better.
