I like it. We put some faith in some freshmen and they delivered for the most part. 9 K's only 2 walks...Nice start.

Good first win. I will say this, sitting by the bullpen, the freshmen arms look the part. Linginfelter is a big kid. Shultz, Stallings, Darling all looked to be good sized guys. Linginfelter tossed late and his velo was noticeable. Andy Cox and Bret Marks sat down by the bullpen and watched the game. Lastly, Rodgers homer was a bomb. It appeared to clear the fence behind the wall in left.

I also meant to add that nothing Heflin throws is straight. He is tiny though. The Memphis porch in left was heckling him. Something along the lines of him looking like a JR High kid.

guess the porch had to have something to make them feel good about being alive...plus the alcohol...just...pitiful...I wasn't even invited...:)
