Good game but another tough loss. It just seems like we can't get over the hump in many of these close games. Hate to see us start 0-4 in the SEC.

Really like Serrano...but it's the same ole every year...start off really well....then SEC play starts and we're knocked back down to reality. We have to win this series. Cannot start 1-5 or 0-6 in the SEC.

Errors were killer. It may not show it in the box score but Rodgers booted a two ball and then Brodie dropped a very catchable fly ball that led to their go ahead runs.

The Vols have played 151 SEC regular season games under Coach Serrano. They have lost 103 of those games.

Mississippi St has been forced to start an outfielder on Sundays due to arm injuries. This should be a series we win 2 in. I don't see it happening.

When he was hired, I was on cloud nine. Just knew we had turned the corner. Now it feels like Todd never left. Gotta say I'm concerned. If Dave can't win here, who can?

More of the same. Have a good non-conference season and then flop when it matters. It's the trademark of Serrano teams.

That is the question; who would be better than Dave? I think Dave, who I really like, has had a very fair chance to get us back on the right track. There isn't any evidence that that is happening, but all hope is not lost.

The next 2 are must wins. We walk away losing this series and especially if we get swept and Serrano's seat is going to warm up quickly.

Bad thing about that is, Serrano fired all of his guns on the pitching staff in this game. Vols will be pushed to win one of these.
