Why would u pay enough attention to the runner on first that u go from a1-2 count to u walking the batter.... Then put one of the fastest runners on the team at second then throw an error to first? Not playing smart baseball....

Being honest here, because I know people exaggerate, but I have never seen a league team field as poorly as Tennessee.

It's beyond dreadful.

even thought I'm disappointed in how we've played so far, if you told me we would be tied 5-5 in the 4th I'd take it.

Just a question? And I like the small ball mentality when u can do it but why would we bunt... And give away an out when we are actually swinging the bat so well ?

Just guessing... lack of faith that Santiago can get a hit to move the runner.

Philosophy of the coach...period. DS uses it as a tool to move on-base runner, surprise (on your heels) opposing team, and because he can. It's a thing of beauty when it works but he "really" believes in it...a lot.

Santiago was hitting .160 before that at bat and often hits infield grounders, also trying to avoid the double play.
