Neely gets a nice opportunity and for the most part he did well...gave up a homer, 2 wild pitches but 3K's and no walks.

Wow. Don't know about you guys but that felt good.
One game, but...I like this winning thing...:)
I don't feel the tension and drama of last year's start...more optimistic this year, but of course, it could be the beers...:):)

So were the Neely wild pitches a result of really good movement with his breaking pitches? If so, I'll take it!

I know Collierville well, or at least I did in the past. You threw me for a loop there so I had to look up the Tiger's website again. Tucker was a Senior last year, the guy who was knocking the ball around today is named Darien.

Kind of hard to say since it was an audio stream only, the first one sounded way off the mark though. Regardless, he saved Kane and Lipinski from having to throw tonight, saving them for the rest of the weekend. That's Big imo.

LSU comes back in the B10th and ties the game versus Cincinnati...Ole Miss had 10,000+ at their home opener today, an attendance record for them.
