Official Tennessee vs. Memphis Game 2 Thread - 1 PM

Alright, bounce back and win tomorrow. The Vols need to win the series against Tiger High. Hopefully they can get to the Tigers bullpen early tomorrow.

11-0...these boys could've mailed it in...gotta love the way they fought all the way.
Thanks to vol66...you're the best, and to txbo...
Without you guys it wouldn't be the same, so thanks again, and on to taking the rubber match tomorrow...:pepper::pepper:

GBO!

There were at least 11 radar guns in the stands watching Kyle pitch.

His stuff was great early in until he ran into adversity that just shredded his psyche.

As we stated earlier, it's time for the young man to toughen up. We need him because we need all the starters we can get. We can't afford to send him to pen again or pitch midweek.

Also, the first 3 innings at the plate were terrible. Their starter faced the minimum as we had poorly thought at bats. To put pressure on pitcher and fielder's we have to put the ball in play first

From D1 on yesterday's game attendance.

9. SEC draws big February crowds

Arkansas set a Baum Stadium opening day record by drawing 9,620 fans for its 6-1 win against Central Michigan, and that wasn’t even the biggest crowd of the day. Ole Miss also set an opening day attendance record of 10,129, and LSU attracted a whopping 11,906 fans. Elsewhere, Texas A&M drew 6,806; Mississippi State drew 9,413; and Alabama drew a sellout crowd of 5,867 to the grand opening of Sewell-Thomas Stadium. Not bad for February baseball.
