I understand exactly how it works. I'm not a defeatist. I'm looking In terms of what gives us the best boost, or at least that's the way we use to look at things around here. A Sukky usc does not mean much in respect when we win. If we lose, it drops us way back if usc is perceived as crappy. I'm looking at bigger picture. I want ut to win the East, but if that magical carpet ride happens....I'd like it to mean national prominence, not all the sec east was down.

Didn't hurt South Carolina much when they lost to us last year

Love the SEC network.....the talking heads are nauseating however. My god finebaum & tebow are the worst. The others aren't much better. Oh well. Go A&M

I feel real weird because the talking heads are shocked and I really am not surprised.

The level of ease may not be what I suspected, but I'm not shocked at all.

Seriously, the east might be looking as bad as the west used to in the 90s...all these teams seemingly have pretty big issues they're coming into the season with, aren't they?
