Did anyone catch the stat where it showed Vandy had only made one more shot than us (About 1 min to go). Fouls are killing us! Wish they could have got a few baskets when we cut it to 12 or so.

Steven Pearl is a 4 man who cannot dribble, rebound, or defend an SEC caliber player. I am sick and tired of watching him. It may be wrong of me, but I'm starting to hate this team.

Pearl is playing harder than pretty much anybody else on the team tonight besides Maze. I don't mind when he comes in - defends pretty well and ups the tempo. He makes up for lack of skill with hustle.

This is embarassing and painful to watch. Like a train wreck though - I can't take my eyes off it, probably won't until the bitter end. :banghead2:

Well Pearl Jr has three fouls...maybe he'll foul out in the first couple of min. and we wont have to see him miss layups and freethrows anymore tonight.

That was a bad joke of a half, Vandy getting every call. Tennessee went back to playing bonehead basketball again. One and done in each Tournament this year. It's becoming a pattern.

We're going to come back and win by 5. Some of you guys are hilarious. You really think Vandy can keep this up in the second half? Do you really think we will play as bad?

Vandy is 12 of 23 from the field(2 of those 3 pointers), Tennessee is 10 of 27(1 of those a 3 pointer). Vandy has made 18 of 21 free throws, we've made 6 of 7.

Alright, well the key for the second half is to get within about 8 by the 10 minute mark. We nearly took it from 20 to single digits in 10 minutes during the first half, so this is attainable.

Yes and if he could hit layups we would have a few more points...and if Prince could catch a perfect pass under the basket, there's two more points...three simple plays and this would be about a ten point game right now.

How is it relevant? We're playing 1 on 5 rebounding when he's in the game, he cannot function offensively, and he adds nothing to the table other than the occasional charge and picking up the occasional loose ball someone else pokes out. If he wasn't named Pearl he would never see the floor, and if we had a real media in this town he would be called out on it.

He may play hard, but he is not a division one basketball player.
