(7) Vanderbilt at Tennessee: In the second crazy SEC game, Tennessee snapped a six-game losing streak to Vanderbilt with a come-from-behind, 10-9 win, which tied the series. Down 9-8 with two outs in the ninth, Vols freshman Nathaniel Maggio, whod just entered the game in the top of the ninth on defense, hit a walk-off two-run single on a 3-2 pitch against Vandy closer Carson Fulmer. The teams had taken turns putting up crooked numbers earlier in the game, highlighted by Tennessees six-fun fourth followed by Vandys four-run fifth. The loss spoiled a huge night from Commodores shortstop Vince Conde, who went 4-for-5 with a double, a homer a two steals.
