while he said he was hugely impressed by UT and the coaches and everything, and while we clearly made it close, he obviously had a certain comfort factor with uf and that was the difference. It's very hard to pull in top players when you're coming to the dance late. That's one issue, and then on top of that we struggled to hold players that had established good relations with coaches now gone--like drayton. Kind of a double whammy.

We should do better next year--if Kiffin and co. can coach up the existing talent, win some games and develop some momentum.
