OFFICIAL VOLS COMMIT LIST as the LOIs come in -- 2/4

U have to give it to kiffin. i had been on him for not closing. we stole myles from bama, teague and nuke from CUM , and we still may get stokes and oku. he has closed the deal with these kids and there will be instant touchdowns my multiple freshman. close the day with marlon brown and some lineman and were in a great position.

Running back David Oku, who had been committed to Tennessee for some time, now says he will wait and sign on Thursday and will choose between Auburn and Syracuse. Oku, who's from Midwest City, Okla., is rated by Scouts Inc. as the 13th best running back prospect in the country.

Good Riddance...thanks for blowing smoke up our arse.

This actually explains why OKU didn't Enroll early

Wow, it looks like we are becoming "wide receiver U" again! We have a lot of skill players committed but I am a bit concerned over our lack of commitments on the OL and DL. We're really gonna need some "beef" in next year's class.

I'm guessing next year recruiting targets will be:
1. OL, OL, OL, OL
2. DT
3. QB
4. RB
5. Best players we can get at various positions

I have no idea what the 2010 JUCO OL prospects look like, but we'll probably need 1 or 2 that are physically ready to come in and play.

wow... I left my computer for about 20 mins and back then... in the dark ages... Nuke was a Gator... now... he is a rising star in the bright orange sky!

Freak

How good did it feel to put Nuke in the "In" column??

That's a great one for Tennessee. I had a good feeling about him. I spoke to a recruiting analyst from south florida last night and today who texted me that he was 95% sure it was Tennessee but I think that ESPN report threw us all off. No doubt that kid played both sides of the media.

I hope Oku goes to Syracuse but it sure looks like Auburn.

With that said I felt a top 20 finish this year would be very good, I am pleased, now let's get them in and start teaching some football, cause before long, it will be Football Time in Tennessee! GO VOLS and thanks to all for keeping us posted.
