OFFICIAL VOLS COMMIT LIST as the LOIs come in -- 2/4

Ahhh, what a day to join. It only took about 2 hours to sift through this thread. I thank you. . .my employer does not!

Thanks for the intel, all.

If for nothing more than it makes for HUGE inroads deep in Florida.

True. It shows that Lane won't back down to anyone, concerning anything.

We know he can beat UF for recruits... now lets see about football games.

I like the attitude, and I love the outcome.

"150% Gator" LOL.

Nuke was a big deal, in my opinion, because it proves we can go face to face with UF and win. It is especially huge since we got him from their back yard and we had a limited time to pursue him.

Haha, I couldn't roll outta bed till about noon, been fighting a nasty flu, and it took me till about 2 o'clock to get all the way to the last page. The ups and downs were killing me more than the fever and chest gunk I've been hocking up!

Welcome to to the board.

Check out this article from a week ago about Nuke.. LMAO!! Makes me feel pretty good about our chances with Jackson now.

Gator fans need not fret over Nu’Keese Richardson

By Ben Volin | Wednesday, January 28, 2009, 05:19 PM

While several Gator recruits are softening their commitments, Pahokee receiver Nu’Keese Richardson isn’t one of them.

Richardson was nice enough to awake from his nap today and take my call, and squash any rumors of taking a last-minute peek at rival Tennessee.

“Naw, no visit to Tennessee,” he said. As for his commitment to Florida: “When Signing Day comes, I know for sure I’m solid.”

New Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin and running backs coach Eddie Gran were in Pahokee yesterday, though Richardson said the visit focused mainly on cornerback Jarvis Byrd, who has committed to N.C. State.

But Gran did speak to Richardson to gauge the strength of his commitment to Florida.

“We spoke, but I told him I was fully committed to Florida, so that was pretty much it,” Richardson said.

And wouldn’t you know, on Tuesday Urban Meyer and recruiting coordinator Billy Gonzales “dropped in on me,” Richardson said. They spent most of the visit speaking with Pahokee coach Blaze Thompson, and Richardson assured them he will sign with Florida next Wednesday.

any word on some "filler" with this class. it would be really nice to bring in about 4 or 5 o-lineman and just let them compete. it couldnt hurt.
