There were multiple games this season where Kiki Iriafen scored in single digits and rebounding totals were low. Tennessee is playing well and could beat any team if they continue playing their best basketball. Tennessee scored 92 points against a Green Bay team that plays better halfcourt defense than Stanford. The system Green Bay runs offensively with their 3pt shooters is a challenge which Tennessee adjusted to and played outstanding team defense against for 3 quarters. Tennessee’s roster is not inferior to Stanford or their individual players in any way. If they score 70+ then Tennessee can score +1 of that and win the game. Rickea Jackson and Jewel Spear as LaChina Robinson basketball analyst said have the game to make magic in the NCAA tourney. That just isn’t how Tennessee plays in depending on one player to score 40 points.

One thing else on that play.
Watch replay on YouTube last night.
Speed .25 Brink put her hand on ball.
Kept her hand on the ball.
They was no shot. Ball never left hands of the Iowa State player.
Brink was ggoing for a tie up
Tv women said they could have just as easily been a tie up 100% AGREEMENT.

Official call foul before shot . On Brink I ? Call
On review there nothing they could review no way it could been upgraded.
They can't change foul calls in review
Refs called a foul on the floor before the shot.
So no way could Iowa State have gotten foul shots on that play.
And there's no way they are up grading a possible tie up call.

Mudcat way stand by what you believe.
Don't matter if it gets alike or anyone else agree.

I'm worried we're due for one of those horrid shooting days today. That's my biggest worry.

What I love about Audie C, besides everything, is she plays with absolute joy. I also see that in JuJu and Hannah. None of the performative mean spiritedness we saw take over last spring. That is what is 'good for the game', not that other crap

Yep, love some of the freshman. They love the game and they’re leaving the rest of that at home. Fun to watch.

A lot of those kids like Juju, Audi, Hannah etc were in their formative basketball time during the COVID lockdown. I can just imagine Juju in a quiet gym hitting 1,000 shots. I do think that time away from the world 4 years ago made some real ballers we are seeing today.

Malaysia Fulwilley too. Kid is fun to watch, and already noted, could play at the next level. You can tell she grew up as a gym rat. I'm hopeful that is what we might see from the two commitments made to Tennessee, Nyla Brooks and Finley Chastain. Both of those players have an incredible work ethic and live in the gym. We just need a few great players to join them!

Coach Yo has done a phenomenal job with the development of Marquesha Davis.

When she was at Arkansas nobody would have expect she’d end up being a First Team All-SEC player and a WNBA pick.

I remember Neighbors talking about how she was a local product just grateful to have an opportunity. He was never gonna give her any minutes though. Didn’t believe in her because she was a 3 star who wasn’t heavily recruited.

What an athlete, her career has been fun to watch, must be a really hard working young woman!

Right? I think NC state will try to pack it in like ND is doing right now. We’ll have to shoot well to open it up. Ole Miss better find some shots to fall quickly or this will get out of hand.

I think that will be the game. Can Spear. Puckett and Darby force NCST to come out so RJ and Key can go to work.

Powell will need to be on her best distribution game...
