The NCS venue only seats 5500 and is shown as sold out on the NCS website gopack.com. I looked up the attendance at many of the NCS womens games and 5500 was reported. They must have sold out every game and now they are at home for the first two rounds of the NCAA. Wonder how many seats UT was alloted. But LVs can prevail.
Maybe you did not mean it that way but there is a pattern on this board. Losses are always 100% proof that Kellie must be fired immediately whereas wins are attributed to other non-coaching factors-- weak opposition, the other team not playing well, Venus being aligned with Mars, and often, the idea that players made their own decisions and did their own thing to get the win while Kellie just sat on the sidelines looking pretty. What

Look, is context really important when trying to sell an agenda? This story was written by a Green Bay beat reporter, but could have easily been written by several on here..."The 11th-seeded Phoenix are headed to Raleigh, North Carolina, on Saturday where they will face another traditional power trying to reclaim its previous status, sixthseeded Tennessee (19-12). If they beat the Volunteers, who went 5-4 over their last nine SEC games, they could face third-seeded North Carolina State. Green Bay reached the second round five times between 2003 and 2012 — making its first two trips with Borseth as head coach — and it beat Niagara in a firstround WNIT game last year."
Of course, they failed to mention those 4 losses were 3 against South Carolina and 1 versus LSU.![]()
A laughable bit of homer-ism for sure. Meanwhile, the GB coaches are well aware, and throwing up in their mouths a bit watching film and trying to decide which of their 6'1" wonders are going to guard Rickea and Jewel. I'm SO glad to finally be stepping out of the SEC. It's one thing to watch RJ on film, another altogether to actually play against her. They do, was just posting about this in the LV news thread. Non LV people are pretty stunned about it too, even Coach Yo posted.I imagine they have a bit of a chip on their shoulder as well given RJ’s egregious snub.
I'll probably regret this optimism, but I also think GB will be the perfect tune up.Green Bay will be an easy game and will be a tune up for the NCS game. I think we control the paint against NCS and expect a win even on their home court. A couple interesting story lines for that game. CKH use to be Wes Moore’s assistant and Tennessee apparently snubbed Wes in favor of CKH. I imagine he would love to beat Tennessee but doesn’t have the horses to pull it off IMO.
LSU punished for soft non conference schedule
Teams. SOS . . . Overall record
SC. 23. . 32-0
Iowa . . 20. 29-4
USC. 3. 26-5
Texas . 41. 30-4
Stanford . . 15 . . 28-5
UCLA 1 25-6
OHIO State 14. 24-5
ND. . 24. 26-6
LSU . 52. 28-5
Milk and cupcakes are ok in small portions
But did the committee ask LSU where's the meat?

The 2 games after the 29 point game Striplin had 17 and 16 points respectfully. She never scored 40. I think she had like 29 in the loss to MTSU. She was on fire that day. Sadly the rest of her teammates were not.
Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain. Tess for 21, Sara for 24, Jewel for 30, Rickea goes out and tops JUJU with a 55 point, 20 assist, 20 rebound game.A laughable bit of homer-ism for sure. Remember the Missouri game at home where Rickea had 19 pts in the first half, mostly uncontested layups? KJH said she knew they couldn't guard RJ and her actual game plan was give her the ball in the post and get out of the way. I expect something similar, plus a 3 pt barrage when GB tries to collapse on the post.
