WSU has won every game that they scored 72 points or more. I'd say our chances were good if we weren't shooting 3% from the floor. :disappointed:

if they arent gonna go down low to patterson or wingate, and the threes arent dropping...why dont they try driving in and drawing fouls?

Terrible. WSU is good, but their defense isn't that good. This is all on us. WSU is just chilling and waiting for us to make our next blunder so they can capitalize.

:dunno: We certainly didn't draw many on them...that's for sure.

I'd actually say the truth is, Wichita State is lucky to be up 5. They could have been looking at a double digit deficit.

What's funny is Winthrop outplayed us and we won. We might lose when we outplay WSU.

Thats the dark side of falling in love with the 3....when the ball gets magnitized and starts drawing iron your players seem to forget driving in, penetrating the zone and in traffic passing.

This game reminds me of the Winthrop game except we're Winthrop this time. Always just doing enough to stay close.

Something has to change in this second half.

Sorry but I fail to see the humor in that! :p

I really don't feel that worried.

We have gone on a couple runs when our shots start falling. Major is crashing the boards and sooner or later the 2 footers have to drop.

Our defense is looking pretty good. We just need to get out and run more.

Bruce will light a fire into them at halftime and I expect to see a different UT team come out after the break.

I'm just going to sit here and wait for Lofton to get hot. If he doesn't, then there's a real good chance that our season is over.

Miller is 0-4 so Major has gotten in his head.

I agree with another poster that UT is playing well for the most part, except for shooting.

Why can't we just step up and kick somebody's butt? I would like to see us get fired up and just dominate the second half.

Where's that play that carried us to the SEC East title?

On the bright side of things.....Major has done a pretty good job. He needs to stop shooting from way out but otherwise, he's been really solid. I'm proud of him for stepping his game up in this tourney.

bright side is that we're close enough that if Lofton or anyone else gets hot...we're still in a great position to take the game over, we've been behind before at the half and still won impressively. :cross:

This is true. Seems like I'm always ready to give up by the half but our guy pull it out at the end. I'll take that, I just think that we should be up big right now and it's frustrating the heck out of me.......(my Fulmer talk for the day)

finally game on I got tired of watching Florida and boy it does make you nervous wathcing them when their down com on vols rip those nets.
