Officials tonight were crowd pleasers

How does the replay official say the runner's knee was down BEFORE he lost his hold on the ball? Assuming his eyesight is the same as your's, mine, and the ABC rules guru?

Earlier in the day, the Arky St receiver caught the ball on the sideline and the ref called no catch-OOB. The replay clearly showed he had a foot inbounds (the announcers, like the viewers, were dumbfounded when the original call was "confirmed").

"Overturnable evidence" apparently depends on whether the replay ref is willing to believe his own lying eyes.

Not one, but it seemed consistent to me

Consistency is not a trait to necessarily be admired.

They consistently missed obvious holding calls on OU's line in the first half. So in that case, consistency just amounts to being consistently incompetent.

I know there are always calls that go both ways. But I hate the "game-changers."

The fumble was just that. Down 13-7 before half, instead of keeping it that way, we went down 20-7. Then they got the ball after halftime and we were down 27-7. Game over.

I know we still could've responded defensively and stopped them on both occasions, but we'll never know what would've happened of he play was called correctly.

Heck, even CHRIS FOWLER thought it was a fumble.

The refs on the field were an SEC crew, but the TV announcers said the instant replay crew in the booth were Big 12. They're the ones who blew the obvious fumble and when the OU player was dropping the ball before he crossed the goal line on the pick 6.

Saw several offensive holds by the OU line that were not called. The fumble that was challenged but not overturned was a clear fumble.

I saw a ton of white jerseys being pulled from behind and players dragged by OU defense, flagrant holding by offensive line. That obvious fumble was inexcusable. That ball was clearly loose and no knee was anywhere near down. Replay official lied. Crazy

The holding was ridiculous - including the wrestling moves and guys ripping shirts off right in front of REF's. WTH was going on with those referee's? They were intimidated by Stoops and crowd!
But the more important ones were the interference by the DB's they always hit receivers with body blows prior to ball arrival - you could tell they were coached that way - which is why I think Stoops's are dirty.
On our long throw on first down they were holding Marquez's right hand he couldn't even get it around to go for ball. I am sorry but if I see it - they should see it and not be afraid to call it. It is a penalty!
That's why experience matters - it takes some time to learn how to cheat the rules to full advantage. But the Damn referee's ought to call the game by the rules and put an end to these tactics which are being coached!
Same as fouls in Basketball - you can foul the heck out of people if you do it the right way. Here's to our guy's learning how!
But the damn ref's need to have the guts to make calls! It impacted many plays last night.

Coach K at dook has been teaching his players to cheat for years. It's disgusting, but it was the only way his teams can compete when outmatched.

This was a very poorly officiated game. I can't believe they didn't overturn that fumble. And they missed a lot of pass interference calls, like the ball Croom had to try and catch with one hand.
