I have included a lot of information. This is all just for the purpose of memories and looking back. I didn't include any highlights or stats for Peterman for obvious reasons. What are some of your favorite moments from the above players?

Also, if you know of any better highlight footage on the internet from any of these guys, feel free to post and I'll edit the OP.

Why is Dobbs on the list? That dude does not belong anywhere close to the other guys.. sorry if vol fans think he is the answer we will not be bowling next year..

I just hope someone steps up that can complete a freaking pass ...lol. we only have 2 pass plays :)

Watching sugar bowl n ou will beat us by 40 next year..

Nice work. Cool to reminisce. It would be cool to include their W/L record.

On a side note, I like the old school logo and end zone from the 90's!

You seem to be comparing these QBs ... in all fairness to Dobbs, you should only include the first 5 starting games of the other QBs. And even then, few of them got thrown into the fire as true freshmen, though there were some exceptions like Ainge and Peyton.

I didn't take it as a comparison between QB's. The thread is titled past QB talent since 1990. Besides, no one compares to #16

Oh. Well, heck. I don't know who he was talking to. I just wanted to provide something to help people kill time and start a conversation.

The thread is good! I've never seen the info/stats laid out like that. We've had some good QB's come through here! Can't wait to see who the next great one is!

I'm hoping the next great one is already on our roster. I'm not writing any of the four off.

I agree. It amazes me the amount of folks on here who have written off Dobbs for playing like a true freshman. It's going to be a long off season!

I only included the quarterbacks that received the most playing time. Notice I didn't include Nick Stephens, BJ Coleman, AJ Suggs, Jerry Colquit, Brent Schaeffer, etc.

I think Simms started more games than Dobbs. Not that I want to dredge up those memories. Just saying.

Didn't realize Bray had those kinds of stats. But do remember he only played against the cup cakes on the schedule though!
