Oh Da'Rick...

Didn't hurt Honey Badger. I can't believe GM's are passing on a proven, NFL ready WR who failed 3 drug tests, while taking an undersized CB who admitted to failing 10 drug tests and hasn't played football in over a year.

The honey badger never put himself before his team...

The difference between Rodgers and Mathieu is one has an attitude problem, while the other really likes him some weed. Although if I remember correctly Rodgers likes him some weed too.

I don't think one can question Da'rick's on field attitude. Kid brought it every game IMO, while being double and triple teamed once JH went down.

At this point, the NFL appears to think much higher of Dooley than it does Bray and Rogers.
At the risk of being pummeled by Vol Nation, I always have. Dooley was dealt a crappy hand, and wasn't able to ditch 60% of his cards, and play others.

Right or wrong, if Honey Badger slacked a little it didn't have the impact on his teams performance/outcome like Da'Rick. I'd argue continuously smoking weed is putting yourself and desires above your team.

Incredible!!! Da'Rick can't even get selected over a guy that got arrested at his football practice for dealing (Armonty Bryant)!!!

We have a winner.

The Honey Badger played at a much higher level for a much better program that Duh ever did. Duh's best season was the one Hunter went down when he became the #1 target by default.

Dooley was dealt a crappy hand and made things infinitely worse.
The biggest mistake that he made was his choice of defensive co-ordinator. With a better choice, last season would have been decent.

The first year, we were young and had no depth. The second year, injuries and dismissals to key personnel ( again no reliable backups) led to a poor season after a promising start. Year three was a huge mistake in changing schemes without the proper personnel or d-coordinator to install it.

Maybe Dooley was the reason for the d-coaches leaving after season 2 . If they had remained, this year would have been far different. Anyway, he gets the blame, but I think that we were closer to respectability than you realize.

I bet a lot more than we know went on behind the scenes with darick while he was at UT . I am also willing to bet, that every coach associated with tenn while he played here was happy to provide those instances with coaches in the league. You can't expect karma to just forget about you

Rogers not getting drafted could be the best thing for him...give him a chip on his shoulder

He recruited the back-ups. He did nothing to adjust the stars attitudes. He is a terrible coach.

What could he do? He kicked Rogers and Jackson to the curb. I'm not saying Dooley was a good coach but if Jackson, Rogers, Brown and Bray weren't turds we would have won a lot more games.

For those who think this comes down to Dooley, I don't. I think it comes down to someone who is much more respected in the NFL, Charlie Baggett. You know these teams call everyone associated with these players that they can to get feedback on their ability and attitude. Bagget had to walk away from this program for a reason.

I really think that one beautiful afternoon in November 2011 in Lexington, Kentucky is the day that sealed the draft status of Darick Rogers and Tyler Bray. No NFL team wants players that do not care about winning or losing. The drugs and other events just support the attitude problems that are evident here.

Lane Kiffin just keeps on giving to the university.
