If we are suggesting basketball coaches, I like what the coach has done at utm girls basketball. He is the up and comer. How ironic would that be, we got Summit from utm.

"You" (generally speaking, of course) aren't getting anyone else because the job isn't open and will not be open for a long time. There is no need for a new coach. Holly has an excellent record for a third-year head coach. If UT dismisses her with her record (60-15, a couple of SEC championships, and two good runs into the NCAA tournament as only a second year head coach) just because a malcontent "fan"base wants her gone every damn time the team loses a game, nobody in his or her right mind is going to be stupid enough to take the job. Jesus Christ wouldn't coach the Lady Vols with fans like you.

I'd like us to at least be the best in our state. If Vandy beats us, we would be third. I'm not critical of a loss here and there in basketball, that happens. But it doesn't take an expert to see that our program is going on a death spiral. Top talent has been keeping it afloat but still missing on the best player, but a couple more years of this display and the talent won't come. Then we will have a second rate coach with a second rate talent wise team. Maybe then you will see, we just need to fall a little further for most to see it, a lot further for you to see.

It might be a little exaggerated. I'm just never confident in Hollys ability to prepare our team or to make in game moves that would allow us to beat the well coached major programs across the country. Now we are losing to the small well coached teams. The Chatt loss is not the only straw over the last couple years, it's just the last one.imo

Jim I agree. I know a lot of Holly supPorters think we are complaining but we need to be honest and compare Holly to other successful coaches. When you put it on paper she just does not compare. Again I do not advocate kicking her to the curb this year but we all need to face reality, are we only interested in winning seasons and making the final eight? If that is our goal then we need to quit recruiting 5 stars. We also need to be realistic, we have two scholarships on the table that we have not filled for the 2015 class. This should never happen to a top 5 program. There are a lot of coaching and player mistakes being made. Ladies and gentlemen this affects recruiting. If a head coach cannot motivate the starters, set their butts on the bench and play those who are motivated. Most of the cures for an unmotivated and mistake ridden team is in the hand of the head coach and their assistances.

Pat4life, if you believe that calling me a loser is in any way going to boost your morale of yourself then by all means do you. I know that people tend to lash out to those their admire so I'll take what you considered to be an insult as a compliment. Furthermore, you have already shown that you are completely clueless when it comes to sports so how about you stick to what your good at; being the laughing stock of the forum.

As for tonight's game, I for one am wishing for a close game to see how the team handles a little bit of pressure. Good for them to face some close calls before the SEC play to ensure they won't have a meltdown when it happens. As always, Go Lady Vols!

Again you continue to show your true ignorance with such hatred towards people you know nothing about. Can you say one positive thing about the team you supposedly support?? I Chastise you? How about you get a dictionary and look up the true definition and let us know who is chastising who. What a waste of space you have shown to be. Good for nothing but negativity. Staley doesn't seem like a good fit. Tyler hasn't proven anything and Caldwell hasn't been the same coach since she had her kid. Mitchell is a prick who teaches his kids to play dirty.

There just isn't a whole lot to choose from. There is certainly no coach who is a sure thing who you could lure here.

We should have gone after the Louisville coach or Caldwell right from the jump.
