Johnson said Pruitt was very honest with him and told him, “if we don’t win 8-9 game this year, don’t consider us. We aren’t on track.” So that should tell you where the expectations are.

I kinda like it. But if that’s the pitch, don’t expect any highly rated commitments any time soon. They’re all in wait and see mode because Pruitt told them to be.

DL is a huge question mark, but literally every other position should be improved. Our schedule is much better and every one of our east opponents outside of UGA, and maybe Florida, will be taking a step back. We’ve averaged somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 spots ahead of just about every opponent on schedule in recruiting rankings save for 3 of them. 8 wins allows for those 3 losses +1 more. I wouldn’t bet a bunch of money on 8 wins, but 8 wins isn’t in any way insane either.
