woke up yesterday with what appears to be the flu - fever hit 102.4 yesterday afternoon but fortunately has come down since.

this is bad but nothing like the swine flu I had a while back - that was a near death experience

Man, I got that Swine flu that year as well and let me tell you that thing leveled me. 7 days later and I was feeling better, went to Walmart, walked from the front doors to the back of the store and then it hit me. I almost passed out because I was so weakened by the virus and didn't realize how bad I was fatigued.

The test isn't always accurate. A lot of places have stopped testing for it and just handing out prescriptions for Tamiflu if your symptoms matched and the fever was high enough.

I've known a couple if people that got that. That stuff is viscious.

My 1yo got the vaccine (2 shots) but also just got over the flu. Thankfully he got over it pretty quick

My 3yo got the mist which knocked him down for almost 2 days but hasn't been sick.
