It was weird to not see him yelling for her to come back, but he was probably caught off-guard. That was a first-grader mistake.

Earlier this inning, he was going to put in a pinch runner for Seggern and she had to stop him. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to re-enter, since he'd already lifted her once. She saved him from making a disastrous mistake.
