Will OSU be eligible for the playoff without this game?

They will still be in the playoff regardless I imagine.

The 6 game rule is a big 10 rule.... they will waive it, guaranteed. No way OSU misses the playoffs sue to a conference rule

Michigan says it will continue daily testing with hopes of getting back on the practice field when cleared by medical officials. For what ?

Michigan just did a coward move. They knew they were going to get hammered by Ohio St. They knew that by canceling the game, this would ruin their arch rival's chance at the playoffs. They also knew that another embarrassing loss at the hands of Ohio St would force them to have to fire Jim Harbaugh. COVID becomes the valid excuse but we know the truth.

In order to maximize the number of games and more importantly TV revenue in their shortened season, during the weekend on Dec 19th, not only do the first place teams from each division play, but #2 plays #2, #3 plays #3, and so on.

Herby said Michigan would do this to keep OSU out of the title chase.

With the NCAA waiving the win requirements for this year, they'll end up in a bowl just like every other major brand name team (us included).

I don’t think so. Believe they needed 6 games
Unless you’re Ohio St., then the rules magically get changed. The conference set that rule knowing there’s a chance it could come into play but since it would hurt their cash cow all of their reasons for setting the rule go right out the window. This is very typical for where we are as a country. Rules are important until they’re a nuisance. I say let them in so we can watch them lose again. I do think they’re better than both A&M and Florida anyway.

I think he's right, but it won't work. B10 will waive the rule anyway...otherwise its 2 SEC and 2 ACC, or 3 Sec teams in CFP. They will never let that happen.
