Why do they continue to even talk about the SEC? I mean obviously by my name you can tell where I live...but it is not stop up here about how the Big 10 is great and the SEC is over-rated. I mean I heard from everyone of them when the Vols lost to NC. I just have a hard time understanding why somebody that is 0-9 in their last 9 against a conference is soooo worried about what the SEC is doing. I know most of you don't root for other SEC schools in bowl games but I pull for them big time against the little 10, because I can't stand to listen to it anymore! Any thoughts? Thanks! GO VOLS!
I live in Chicago & deal with this as well. You have to understand that Big 10 fans are by definition slightly delusional. It's just that OSU fans are clinical. They have Delusional Disorder with highly obnoxious features. Look it up in the DSM. I may have added the obnoxious features bit, but seriously, OSU fans are the worst in biz.
See, after going 0-5 on NY day, most Big 10 fans will shut their yapper. There is some sense with Iowa, Mich St., Mich, Penn St. etc fans. OSU will not. They are like viral minions of rabid dogs, all suffering the same virus & they spread it to each other, & then spread amongst the States & infect or offend others who no longer want to be near them due to repulsion or fear...fear of contracting this malady.
What to do about it? Well, considering the ease of entrance standards & ~55k enrollment they have, meaning that nearly 20k new imbecils graduate from there every year with the sickness, there really is no treatment or cure. Wholesale destruction of Columbus would be really the only prevention, but the rabid dogs would descend on their lair, & rebuild the viral factory.
So, what'ya gonna do? My advice: if you see red, run the other way.
