ohio state problems

Ostate is actually a little spooked by Michigan this year. They seem to think the law of averages alone works in michigans favor.... even beyond that there is a different feel this year, like it might be Michigan that gives them that 3rd loss. They keep talking about it.

just look at Tennessee Florida. When they shouldn’t have Florida found a way to lose.

Ohio State will too. It’s only a matter of time.

Co-Head Coach? What are you even talking about? Do you mean Associate Head Coach? That doesn’t mean co-head coach. And no, Ohio State promoting Ryan Day surprised absolutely no one, unless they were living under a rock.

Larry Johnson is one of the best DL coaches in football....that has been proven over and over again with his development of players, (the Bosa bros. Chase Young, Tyquan lewis, tambali Hall, etc., etc) but he has been a lifetime positional coach, and not HC, or even DC. Being a HC involves a heck of a lot more than X's and O's, and recruiting, a heck of a lot more.... Urban Meyer handpicked Ryan Day because he said he was the best ass't he ever had, by far...and that list includes Dan Mullen and Kyle Whittingham for starters.

@Dudleys87 yeah, it just doesn't feel tight like they usually are, they feel sloppy. disorganized. Day's recruiting is too good to be in any kind if trouble, but he is about to be tested as a head coach. we'll just have to watch it play out because we don't have enough experience with Day to know what we have yet. He's throwing coombs under the bus rn.

if they want to go down that road then so be it. I can assure you though I wouldn’t lose any sleep if they got their share of Dooleys, Jones, and Pruitt.

And I’d fire CJH to get Day everyday and twice on Tuesday but at least Tennessee is headed in a good direction under the current HC.

well, they will most likely just hand over the D to Larry Johnson. That's what I would do, and let him try to correct the situation.

I'm at a kids birthday party, but I'm watching the game with o states. The honks are freaking out. michigan won by 50 points with 375 yards rushing, and 8 rushing TD. Indiana and Cincinnati are not a joke.

They threw one of their safeties under the bus last week, time to just move up the chain.

Sloppy, disorganized and seemingly uninterested. All the talent in the world and playing like this..... I will say that this Treveyon Henderson is as good as a back as I've seen for many years... I'm not just saying that because of 1 game, or even 3 games as a true Freshmen. He has the vision, speed, and power, plus shiftiness that really wow. Looked at his hs film and he was literally never tackled.... 10 minutes of it.

Kerry Coombs is one fantastic human, a really good DB coach, and one of the nations best recruiters, but he isn't a DC...he just isn't. All the talent in the world and he can't scheme or call competent plays.... Time after time after time they give up big plays that have been run over and over again... Pathetic. Word has it they might hire anothe co-DC, Musberger a possibility. Jeremy Pruitt has even been mentioned.
They will not get Pruitt. I believe he may have a show cause in his future.

Line Backer K'Vaughan Pope got upset he couldn't get garbage time against Akron. Threw his gear in the stands and twitted " f Ohio state" during the game before quitting.

He is a high 4* player but he just wasn't producing and this was his year to start after waiting patiently for 3 years...... OSU is playing everyone, and I mean everyone, as 4 staters are true freshmen and really contributing. It's totally unheard of, but hey, if freshmen are more productive than veterans sobeit....

I think this might be the first time I've seen a team recruit too well. They can't keep them happy. Even Master teague is is having problems at osu. Its a juggling act at this point..
