Ohio St usually plays at least one Power 5 nonconference opponent and they're usually a pretty good one. Not always though.

Certainly not this year. Florida Atlantic, Cincinnati and Miami of Ohio were their out of conference games.

Must be nice to be in the Big 10. OSU gets to cake walk annually into the championship. Because they don't play schools from other P5 conferences, it's hard to gauge how good they actually are until the playoffs.

Yep. Ever since Tressel was hired in December ‘00 OSU has won 17 of 19. What makes it more remarkable is the fact that John Cooper, who had a damn good stint in Columbus, lost his job because he couldn’t beat Michigan. Hiring Tressel changed the mentality of the rivalry.

Ohio State and Clemson won their way into the FBS Playoffs. I think Clemson will beat Ohio State in the Semifinals.

I just think "cakewalk" is a strong word to use, especially when you have other top 4 teams who have significantly worse strength of schedules.

Jim Harbaugh, always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

And it's not just about losing to Ohio State 5 times out of 5. He is a mediocre 3-2 against Penn State, 3-2 against Michigan State, 2-2 against Wisconsin, and 1-1 versus Notre Dame.

He's a good football coach. But he is not elite. Certainly not worth the $7.5M salary.
