A few days ago (during Media Days) I thought I heard Austin Price say "When fall practice starts in a couple of weeks...". I googled around and couldn't find a date. But, I would guess first week in August. Not really fall, though.

I stand corrected. Fall practice will begin sometime this summer.

Edit: last season fall practice started on the 1st of August. Fwiw.

Lots of times schools including us sometims start the last week of July. It depends on when your first game is and then you roll the calendar back to legal practice start time. I sart smelling practice starting around 7/25 every year, give or take a few days.

I started remarking that I couldn't wait for football season back on about January 15th.

Annoyed my wife to no end for the longest. But then something clicked in her head and now she smiles and says, "I can't wait, either."

I think she sees me having a TV babysitter on Saturdays again. Heh.
