seattle at home..not many better home teams

steelers at home...their defense has too much pride and toughness to let them run on them again like last game

giants because garcia is old and gay and giants can run the ball with big daddy jacobs

chargers because vince young wont scramble anymore and if kewwy colllins starts...nuff said

I'm with ya Jake, I hope the Steelers can somehow pull it off.
oh, i'll be rooting for the black and gold, but they aren't playing very well right now.

Jax crushed the steelers in Pittsburgh 3 weeks ago. the Jags are playing the kind of football right now the Steelers have the REPUTATION for playing. this year, though, they are more finesse on offense, and the D is way overrrated. I don't like it, but i can't see my Steelers winning Saturday night. they may be one of the weakest division winners in the AFC in some time.

im not sold on jacksonville. they are playing great ball right now but if i remember right they have only been in the playoffs once in the last 5 or so years. and pittsburg is the underdog at home. thats going to be huge motivation for them. my money will be big on steelers.

If the jags don't turn the ball over, they will win easily.

Jax has beaten Pit 3 straight, incl two in Pit. the last time Pit beat Jax was Ben's rookie year down there.

as for betting, i never bet on or against my teams. i've got enough invested emotionally, no need to put my finances on such shaky ground.

you think gerrard has enough in him to carry the weight if the run game is shut down? who is he gonna throw to? williams?

But on other terms, what is the status of Ben, wasn't he hurt recently?

the way our defense has been playing of late, running the ball shouldn't be much of a problem.

and Gerard looked great agasinst us a few weeks ago.

the reason our defense is "ranked" as high as it is, is due to the amount of turnovers we got early on. if you don't turn the ball over against us, you can get yards and score. and there's no one in our secondary that i would call "shut down".

couple that with the fact that our offensive line has out right sucked the past month, Ben has been sacked so many times i can't even count that high anymore, jax's d line should go off. No Willie Parker.

if we win, it will be because JAX just made big mistakes.

just call 'em like i see 'em.

as for ben, supposedly ankle sprain, but he's had shoulder, hand and back/hip stuff go on previously in the season. he's been pretty beat up the last 5-6 weeks.

Obviously you haven't watched the Jags all year. They have had over 400 yards total offense 4 games in a row, not counting the scrub game in Huston. If the Jags run for 200 then they have to throw for the other 200. Garrard has had a great year 18TD 3INT. That is pretty solid, we have 4 guys with over 30 catches. I know that is not a lot but we don't have just 1 guy.

Jake is right, if the Jags turn it over then Pitt wins. If we play well, I don't think they can beat the Jags. Pitt will need help just because of injuries.

i have been watching them all year. i have actually bet on them every week. just dont see them beating pitts. in pitts. with a playoff atmosphere. unless charlie batch comes in of course.
