OK prediction time

I dont think it will be close all game. As we've seen, we either go up big or go down big in the first half. I think our players will be out to prove a little something extra with the announcing of the SEC awards.

well we have the big advantage of coming off almost a weeks rest and they will be on less than 24 hours at tip off. now i realize that they didn't exactly have trouble with msu, but they still played... so i will have to go with up big in the first half. this may be that blowout we have all been pining for all year

OK OWB, let me post this again and see if you get this time.

I am not supersticious because it's bad luck.

I know what you're saying. I'm just saying that maybe you should start being superstitious because not being superstitious didn't seem to help that much.

And I still stand by my earlier comments on prediction threads being bad luck. :D

Well I had my four leaf clover surgically attached to my rabbit's foot and it didn't help any. It is really hard to beat the same team 3 times in a season.

Hey man, we've got an NIT CHAMPIONSHIP to defend! You may have a great coach in the Big Dance, but Dave Odom is the winningest coach in NIT History! Watch out NEW YORK CITY, Here We COME!!!!!

Living in New York, I can only pray that 4 teams that are more enjoyable to watch than SC make it to the Garden. As to the empty gym reference, as many dunks and layups as SC got, the gym might as well have been empty.

Hey, it's better than nothing. We have been unable to win even an NIT game the past several years.

How enjoyable can the NIT Final Four really be anyway? Most of the time, NIT Champs make it to the dance the following year. I guess we didn't get the memo. I really don't want a "Back-to-Back NIT Champions" Banner hanging in the Colonial Center.

I think an LSU/Arkansas semifinal matchup would be good. I saw those teams duke it out in Atlanta in 2000. I'll never forget the Stromile Swift windmill jam in that game. I've got to think the other side of the bracket is where the tournament champion will come from.

I feel like I've been let down.

All this talk about not letting up in the SEC Tourney. Man. I feel empty.

Hope this S#!* don't happen in the NCAA Tourney. :realmad:

Actually, given that the last 6-8 teams in the tournament will be almost completely indistinguishable from the last 6-8 out, the NIT should have a decent field. Don't feel bad WC, Michigan hasn't exactly capitalized on their NIT win from a couple of years ago.
