I am not supersticious because it's bad luck.
Now read it slow pard!
Living in New York, I can only pray that 4 teams that are more enjoyable to watch than SC make it to the Garden. As to the empty gym reference, as many dunks and layups as SC got, the gym might as well have been empty.(West Columbia Gamecock @ Mar 10 said:Hey man, we've got an NIT CHAMPIONSHIP to defend! You may have a great coach in the Big Dance, but Dave Odom is the winningest coach in NIT History! Watch out NEW YORK CITY, Here We COME!!!!!

Hey, it's better than nothing. We have been unable to win even an NIT game the past several years.(West Columbia Gamecock @ Mar 10 said:Hey man, we've got an NIT CHAMPIONSHIP to defend! Actually, given that the last 6-8 teams in the tournament will be almost completely indistinguishable from the last 6-8 out, the NIT should have a decent field. Don't feel bad WC, Michigan hasn't exactly capitalized on their NIT win from a couple of years ago.(West Columbia Gamecock @ Mar 10 said:How enjoyable can the NIT Final Four really be anyway? Most of the time, NIT Champs make it to the dance the following year. I guess we didn't get the memo. I really don't want a "Back-to-Back NIT Champions" Banner hanging in the Colonial Center.
I think an LSU/Arkansas semifinal matchup would be good. I saw those teams duke it out in Atlanta in 2000. I'll never forget the Stromile Swift windmill jam in that game. I've got to think the other side of the bracket is where the tournament champion will come from.
