I guess so, because I'm talking about experience on the court...minutes equal valuable time for a player to grow. All you said initially was that he hasn't played much this year, perhaps elaborate next time what you actually mean by that statement. Because I'm pretty sure most people would understand it, in the context of my original comment, that he hasn't played many minutes.

I think you mean he hasn't performed, not played. Which just isn't true. He's had a couple of lackluster performances recently, but before that nobody had much to say about him that was negative.

So far he has:

153 points
8 Steals
9 Blocks
23 Assists
43-55 at the line

But to you all he's done this season is check in. Sorry, but I can't take you seriously. He's been going through his own downtime with wrist injury and also had his wisdom teeth taken out recently, which caused his performance to not be on par with the usual energy we see out of him. Something he spoke about.

Gee, I dunno...how about you stop being lazy and look for yourself? You tell me since you're so interested and seem to have a point to make about how he's just checked in all season long and not really done anything. And I guess you'll make that point by bringing up stats from 3 games from this season as a reason he's not done anything.

don't defend poor performances just because you have a man crush.

All I'm saying is he has not played like he's an All-SEC player.

Be a smartass all you want, but your claim that all he's done is check in is unfounded. You can't let a couple games speak for the whole season. He's been one of the best players on the team so far this season.

The only other player who has shot the ball over 100 times is Bailey, but John is at .534 out of 103 shot attempts. He has gotten to the line more than anyone else and has one of the highest averages from the line even though he's been there more. He averages the most rebounds per game at 6.2 and has the most rebounds at 80. Highest average ppg and most points scored. 3rd in blocks. More assists than Pons and Bailey. That's in all games so far.

In conference, he once again has the highest average ppg and most points. Best FG%. Gets to the line more and has a good average there. Most rebounds, most rpg.

"Not played like he's an All-SEC player", yet is listed on the top charts in scoring - scoring per game - free throws - rebounds - assists - and blocks among current SEC players according to secsports.com.

You're the one that brought up Fulk, when I was talking about Pember. Then I happened to mention that other players are also having ups-and-downs. You could have listed a number of other players that are performing worse than he is. But you picked him, even though he's one of the best players on the team this year and is mentioned a lot as far as SEC players as a whole. The stats don't lie. If you're going to say that he just checks into the game and doesn't "play", then I'm going to counter that claim and I'd do it for any other player. Because that's aboslutely a bogus claim.

So you didn't even watch last year.He played quite a bit in 19/20. So you are a lazy fan but have enough time on your hands to start a thread about a team that you haven't even checked out the roster. You are total fail.

Well uhhh let’s see...last year around this time I:

Built a house
Had our second child
Ran my business
Traded a LOT of stocks
Watched the world start to collapse

Yea that kid on the Tennessee basketball team was quite far down on my list of give a damns last year..... but it doesn’t seem like I missed too much.

And seeing his name on a roster isn’t going to explain why he’s on our team or playing in this game....because he doesn’t seem to be very good.
