Besides the GAM.

It's sick to get in here and see people say "Oh it's okay we just lost. It's sickening. It's never okay to lose. It's def never okay to lose to Florida. We didn't play hard. We got smacked around in the trenches. Lets be honest. Theres a time to be optimistic, it's called the offseason. Theres a time to be realistic and thats the regular season. We have to have more pride than this.

amen

what's really bad is the fact that the players and fulmer probably have that attitude as well.

I don't think you are qualified to be the judge of who played hard. We lost to a team that was picked to beat us. We barely lost. We were in the game the entire 60 minutes. Sure we got beat bad in some facets of the game, but I don't see how you can just say we didn't play hard. There are better, more intelligent reasons you can list as reasons why we lost.

On another note, we may have lost, but I think this weekend still will be positive for the Vols on the recruiting front. We nearly defeated a team that was picked to beat us. On the other hand, Notre Dame got it handed to them bad by a team they were supposed to defeat. Throw in the fact that Michigan struggled somewhat against Vanderbilt (the SEC's weakest team) and that makes the Irish look pretty bad. I'd say Chris Donald and Harrison Smith (both defensive players) are both well aware of how both the Vols and Irish played tonight. Our defense had a few problems, but at least we didn't look like the high school team ND fielded. Anyway, I think that's one mildly positive thing that emerged from this weekend.

Yeah. I'm sure you're really in tight with the football team. Next time you're in the locker room, ask some of those guys about their attitude. If you tried to say something like this around Arron Sears, you would be choking on your teeth.

ok, if they don't have that attitude, then why don't they show it on the field?

If you took the field you would get the crap beat out of you. I wouldn't say that was because you had a bad attitude. I would say it was because the Gators were physically superior. I think that was the case tonight. That could be seen with one's eyes. What can't be seen is a player's attitude.

Oh trust me I named many reasons why we didn't win, it's just I can't tell you where I put them because this will get deleted aint that right vol freak.

Maybe the play hard thing was out of spite of losing, but we didn't have that zest. We didn't at anytime. We were not flying around like wildman.

IMO UT was 2 injured players away from winning tonight. There were a dozen other plays that could have went the other way and UT wins. Its hard for me to criticize the team when they came that close.

Flying around like "wildman" worked great against Air Force, didn't it? Didn't everyone say that Air Force's option game was so disciplined that it tore apart a team like UT that didn't stay at home? Doesn't Florida also run the option? Wouldn't UT want to do something that would help them better defend the option? Can you answer any of these questions?

You know what man. Won't you take a comment a little bit more literatley. It's a figure of speech. Wildman attains to everyone on the D swarming like it their job. Like the Cal game our D were wildmen. We PUNISHED Cal players that touched the ball. Tonight if someone caught the ball we'd run hard at them and hit them with our shoulder and not even attempt to wrap up at all. That's not a wildman. A "D" player that gets pushed around in the trenches, Not a "Wildman".

You want the defenition of a wild man look up AL WILSON highlights and watch the Broncos tommarow.

I bet you thought "I got him now jim-a-ney crickets" when you wrote those questions. Maybe next time, buddy. Maybe next time but not tonight.

Dang! Quit yer digs at the Vols, man. They played their ball$ off. Justin Harrell played with one arm. They gave up a sack at the Gator 35 with the game on the line. They ran the ball into a brick wall on 1st and 2nd down two series in a row. That is infuriating;

but **it HAPPENS.

Now watch this team put this game on the shelf and continue to play their ball$ off for UT.

That said, I am keeping my avatar despite the succession of new opponents on the schedule.

BOOOOOOOOOOO GATORS!

If we can't control our own destiny, at least we can have fun watching UF go through their skeet range of a schedule... dammit.

I hate sammiches.

when you have 2 total yards rushing, you shouldn't have a chance to win games. i don't see how the game was as close as it was. enough said.

What a typical response: "enough said." The game was close, and the score WAS a reflection of that fact. If you can't see that, then you need to get someone to tutor you in the basics of the game, because the rest of us don't have the time.
