I live in North Carolina and I hear daily about Fedora's accomplishments at UNC. He saved a program in turmoil and kept football relevant at a basketball school. He's a heck of a recruiter. Don't forget that he was almost the head coach at Florida. Out of all the candidates i think Fedora is the most likely to be a Home Run from an up and comer.

I don't think I could list 10 people who I think are realistic. Petersen and Patterson I don't have much faith in, I would add Petrino, Roman, and Davis. I do applaud you for leaving Strong off though.

I left Petrino off the list purely on character. I believe UT deserves better. I don't know if the program could survive another Kiffin departure and the risk, in my opinion, is too high for that reoccurring wit Petrino. This guy is just slimy.

I suppose, but you realize Tressel is on your list? Some people, myself included, see what he would bring in NCAA distractions pretty questionable for a school on probation anyway.

I see the point you're making but I think Tressel's troubles are different than Petrino's. Tressel had a lapse in controlling some of his athletes with troubled pasts when they made some poor choices. Patrino has a documented history of lying and walking out on commitments. Patrino is John Calipari on the grid iron.
