Cross him off the list.

"QB Wes Lunt's transfer list just got shorter. #OKState restricting him from Southern Miss and SEC schools."

"I'm Forty, I'm a man" putting the screws to the kid. Do they have SoMiss or SEC teams on future schedules? If not, this sux.

They said "might play in a bowl game"

Parents are appealing the transfer restriction. I say he'll probably win it.

Personally I think its time for the NCAA to do away with the sit out rule, no point in penalizing a kid for wanting to transfer.

Gundy is a regular ass hat. I'm glad we didn't end up with that clown, especially not for the money it would've taken to get him, considering how grossly overpaid he is.

Must disagree with the idea. If you think bama and top teams dominate now, how do you think it would go if they could more less recruit players who play at other schools? I know it would be "breaking the rules", but I have no doubt satan would be on the phone checking interest with ALOT of kids.

Also imagine if a schools players/coaches had a falling out. You could have 30 kids decide to transfer at any given time and can only bring in 25. It could set teams back in a huge way.

The transfer restriction is also extended to all PAC-12 schools plus Central Michigan (they are playing a series with Oklahoma State in 2015-2016). The reason being they might "play in bowl games"

I think it's ridiculous myself. Petty--kind of like Dooley and the Arnett situation.

They seem to attract those types. One former player that now works for the OKC Sports Animal said Les Miles didn't even tell the team bye after their last game. Jumped a plane to Lewzana and was gone.

I'm assuming Lunt can't transfer to any Big XII school for obvious reasons. If that's indeed the case, Gundy has taken 37 schools off the table for the kid! Its situations like this when someone needs to step in. And if its who you might face in a bowl game then why does Gundy not exclude B1G teams whom OSU could face in the Alamo Bowl?

I disagree, because that opens the door for schools to find a way to secretly recruit players off of other schools' rosters all the time.

But, there should be a rule about restricting someone's list. At the most, schools should be allowed to block transfers to someone they have scheduled games against, but no other school.

Gundy should not even have the power to block a transfer to Vandy or Tennessee.

I think it should be

A school on your schedule for the time the player would be in college
Any school in your conference

thats it.

Lunt is going to Illinois to play. Best of luck to him.

Thought I would update this thread.
