I hate the state of Alabama, both Auburn and Alabama football teams, the lousy officials from Bham and the holier than thou Cheating HC at Auburn, Hugh Freeze. At least, OU has a shot now.

This has been bad coaching decisions by OU. I would not be surprised if Venables seat is warm after playing Hawkins all game.

If I were Venables, I would not hesitate to throw Durkin under the bus. Matter of fact I would never have hired the guy in the first place.

And maybe they were already broke. Who can really say at this point. Although the media keeps up the facade of rankings year after year, truthfully you never know who is really good until the end of October. Applies to us, and everybody else.

They also said they were preparing all off season for us. Maybe should have spent more time on the rest of the SEC.

Also it was at home, and their first SEC game. They were always going to play us tougher and be more prepared for us than anyone else.

They are learning that the SEC isn't the Big 12, where you only get up for one game. It's going to be a long season for them. I think they are starting to realize it.

Trying to compare a score between us playing someone on their home field and the playing conditions were less than what I would consider even playable to OU going on the road for the first SEC game is ignorant.

That and the OU game was never really in doubt from about half time on.

We’d have had more if OU’s field wasn’t a disaster. OU wasn’t a threat anyway, Vols did exactly what they should have.

We couldn’t pass protect. That’s the main reason we ran all 2nd half. I’m comparing offenses. We ran the ball all 2nd half because it was risky to drop back and pass, and OU was not threatening us on O at the time.

You being concerned about the potency of auburns offense vs ours is dumb. We went totally conservative due to field conditions and injuries at the tackle position. If you want to be critical of backup tackle play sure that’s an issue, I’ll agree there.
