They have a hotel and its never fully booked. This way you dont have to go to moore or further because the casino is technically still in norman. OF course, things could change and maybe they'll start picking up more bookings! That said its called Riverwind casino and is worth looking into. Plus, gambling!

Dang, was worth a shot. Usually they are always having vacancy, but looks like this year people are learning to book them up now! Try Moore. It's the city directly north of Norman. You'd be under 20-30 min from the stadium on a normal traffic day.

If you have an RV, there is a popular RV hangout on campus where home and visiting fans park their RVs and enjoy the pregame atmosphere. A lot of them arrive on friday and hang out overnight.

Still debating whether to scalp or go legit, but I'll be there.

Anyone been to Norman before and are familiar with whether scalpers are allowed to work unimpeded by local pd?

Scalping is illegal in Cleveland County (where OU is) but people still try to do it. I'd be surprised if you dont find plenty of people selling tickets.

Just a heads up. Parking is a PAIN. The stadium is surrounded by houses (most are students) that will allow you to park in their yards for $20 a pop last time I was at a game. You can also park at the Loyd Noble Center and take a shuttle up to the stadium or walk. I would guess it to be about a mile to the stadium with Sooner fans yelling Boomer Sooner all the way. The Loyd Noble Center is also where most fans park their RVs and some people tailgate. Most people will tailgate on the North and South sides of the stadium. Heisman Park is on the East side of the stadium.
