Venables is by far the biggest loss of the three. The AD arrived after Dabo was the HC and really hasn't done much. He's retained a lousy BB coach and made a few hires for other sports.Clemson could hit the trifecta with Venables leaving for Oklahoma and Radinovich possibly becoming the Miami athletic director and Elliott going elsewhere,
OU fans are going to expect the same results they’ve been having and I don’t think BV will be able to continue the status quo. Why? OU isn’t expected to begin SEC play until 2025. Meanwhile, he has 2 HOF coaches in his backyard that he can lean on for advice while gearing up for SEC play with his own players and coaches . He’ll be there more than 6, probably until he’s done.
Maybe not, but then again, they've demonstrated that they can reach the playoffs with the weakest team very often. I don't think it's that hard for them. With Sark at Texas, at least they won't have to worry about Texas. The CFP is all about who finishes in front of you, and it remains to be seen what we think of the "power 5" 2 years from now. Hard to say. If they come in 5th because USC is in front of them, then we'd have to agree Riley leaving knocked them out. That could easily happen.OU fans are going to expect the same results they’ve been having and I don’t think BV will be able to continue the status quo.
