I would be absolutely shocked if he went to Fox. He'll probably end up in a journalism professorship somewhere, would be my guess. Write some books. Maybe do some guest appearances here and there.

a journalism professorship? Out of being a shock jock?

I knew journalism schools were utter crap, but that seems a stretch to me.

When were Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC established? It died a long time ago.

So you think the crap that Rather and Brokaw were doing was somehow quality journalism?

What crap are you referring to? Personally, I've never really paid any attention to television personalities, or television at all.

Sounded like you were saying that cable news killed journalism. Frankly, prevalence of information simply imposed standards that no journalism school was prepared for.

This may be one of the few instances where your Alma Mater failed you - the vast majority of professors are little more than nut jobs with a personal axe to grind, who have warped values and enjoy spewing their nonsense on captive audience. Unlikely your profs - they've never had to actually apply the theories they preach in the real world.

KO would fit right in. They'd probably skip naming him Dean, and anoint him King, instead.

Not just cable news, but they played a huge part.
