Shivas Irons is a fictional wise man in the book "Golf in the Kingdom." Great book. Highly recommend it.

I never realized til now that Shivas' name was probably taken from the Hindu Shiva. Thanks for making that connection for me!!

Back in the late 60’s early 70’s, I remember my sister mom and I would go on the plane with my dad, and then before takeoff they would announce that anyone not flying that it was time to de board the plane.
