"(Silver) Flint was a prime example of the old-time hard-nosed ballplayer. He began playing in the days when no gloves or masks were available and continued to field barehanded throughout his career. It was reported that during his tenure, he broke every bone in both hands and in his face." - Historian Mark D. Rucker in Nineteenth Century Stars (1989)
No way the Braves would even entertain trading the guys that are in their primes. Albies, Acuña, Riley, Murphy, Olson, Strider, Fried, and Wright are off limits unless it’s for Ohtani or Trout. Goldschmidt is about to be on the downside of his career. You don’t trade guys that are huge producers and under the age of 30 for an aging Goldschmidt. Why would the Cards want that head case Ozuna back? Give them Albies and The catcher D'Naurd
You guys get Fried well he be wearing that Dodger blue with Freddie and Ohtani in a year or so!!!!!!!! But your rite don't trade your nucleus for an aging all starNo way the Braves would even entertain trading the guys that are in their primes. Albies, Acuña, Riley, Murphy, Olson, Strider, Fried, and Wright are off limits unless it’s for Ohtani or Trout. Goldschmidt is about to be on the downside of his career. absolutely, and I use to walk and job past the house he lived in during his youthAbsolutely amazing novelist. A huge loss. But he will last as a writer. I think he will be read for centuries.
