This is one of the most exciting MLB teams in quite some time. They remind me of the late 80’s Oakland A’s, in that 1-9 can beat you on any given day.

Yep, they are clear of the 2nd highest (Yankees) by $65M. That’s 2 high quality starting pitchers worth of payroll. They have $143M more in payroll compared to the Braves. That’s an entire starting rotation of high quality arms. To say they have been an embarrassment would be an understatement.
